About Our School

 

 Lee's Zen Mu Kwan Tae Kwon Do was established on Master Jose Cocco's 38 th birthday, January 12 th 1986. For the past 24 years Lee's Tae Kwon Do has been a mainstay in our community. The school was recognized by the governing boards and former mayor of Miami- Dade County, Alex Penelas, for our great contributions to the community. The main goal of Lee's Zen Mu Kwan Tae Kwon Do School is to aid in the mental and physical, transformation of every student.

We belong to the Zen Mu Kwan Association, founded by our own Grand Master Chong Tae Lee 9 th Dan, the former Vice President of the American Tae Kwon Do Association, and the American Tae Kwon Do Federation. Grand Master Chong Tae Lee created the Z.M.K.A. 

Since the inception of Lee's Zen Mu Kwan Tae Kwon Do School, under the direct supervision of Grand Master Lee, Master Cocco has promoted over 100 students to the level of 1st degree black belt, 15 student to a 2 nd degree black belt, 12 students to a 3 rd degree black belt, 6 students to a 4 th degree black belt, and 4 students to a 5 th degree black belt.

At Lee's Zen Mu Kwan Tae Kwon Do we have an incredibly talented and qualified staff, each of our instructors have between 10 to 30 years experience. We cover all areas of traditional Tae Kwon Do in our teaching. With plenty of instructors on hand all of our students receive a great deal of personal attention. We look forward to teaching you soon!
